the courtyard, well furnished with a mix of antique and modem furniture.

The dining room is
in the oldest part of the house with large inglenook fireplace.
Full English or Continental Breakfast, including yoghurt, grapefruit
& fresh fruit, using local organic produce and homemade preserves
where possible. Anything in-between needs a little notice. Breakfast
may be taken 'al fresco' in the delightful courtyard weather permitting.
On arrival enjoy tea & cakes in the beautiful gardens, courtyard
or in your room.

Detached from the main house overlooking the gardens, it offers
a pretty bedroom with King size bed, an elegant bathroom with bath
and shower over, organic natural soaps and toiletries, big fluffy
white towels, slippers and bathrobes. Upstairs you can relax in
your own private sitting room overlooking the gardens. A light

Brody and Tosca,
are two extremely friendly labradors who live here, can normally
be found strolling around the garden.
Tenterden is ideally situated for popping over to Paris or
Brussels via the Channel Tunnel rail link just a 25 minute drive.
Headcom (20 minutes drive) gets you to London within the Hour (British
rail permitting!) Vita Sackville-West's Sissinghurst, is some 15
minutes drive and well worth a visit. Ellen Terry's Smallhythe Place
is no more than 8 minutes away. For the keen wine connoisseur, visit
Tenterden's own vineyard or slightly further away is Biddenden vineyard.

Tenterden is a pretty tree lined town with many antique shops and
fine jewellers, some of which will design & create unique & individual
pieces of jewellery for you. It also has many fine restaurants and
cafes, ranging from Italian, Turkish and Indian, to English pubs
and tea rooms. All this is just a short and pleasant stroll.
